(Opinion) MK ULTRA wasn’t for the perfect soldier, it was a way to cheap out on medical permits, staff & licensing for experiments.

Project Monarch’s ultimate goal wasn’t to create the perfect soldier (Don’t come at me I’m sensitive). It was to use citizens as lab rats to the Governments advantage with-ought anyone knowing & with as little financial expense as possible. That’s why there was no permits, no proper volunteer programs, no medical staff & no proper lab work.There was no ultimate goal. rather a set of goals from different people who were given the O.K to experiment out of bounds with legal requirements for human experiments. All reached by using typical American citizens. Data was gathered & destroyed because the government would be outed not for creating human military weapons, but for Using regular citizens as unknowing human test subjects for different things. Resulting in; Fines, Lawsuits, People getting fired and ultimately going to jail. I believe (Personally so don’t come at me) the whole “They wanted mind control and bla bla bla” is to take away from some of the ~Horrible~ things they were doing to people.

It’s easier to think the CIA wanted to create a perfect soldier than it is to believe they were looking for ways to torture possible war hostiles, Test Medicines and Dangerous medical procedures and erase people’s memories, cause paralysis ect using neuropathic torture and hallucinogenic chemical alterations.

1.). They were using people as test subjects with-ought their knowledge or consent to go around the legality and cost. Creating an approved ‘legal’ testing center costs probably millions of dollars, tons of legal work, medical professionals, screenings and consent. Testing things like Hallucinogens, truth serums, Medical drugs & experimental treatments that could all be dangerous/deathly. On vulnerable people... like cancer patients, drug addicts, single mothers & sometimes regular un-knowing people seems like a more low cost way than screening healthy adults who might know what the experiment might really be valued or profited for participation. It’s also proved some people were paid in measly dollars & some weren’t paid or even notified at all.

( I also feel this is too large a demographic to assume the goal was based around the military. I think they wanted large demographics of subjects but knew the legalities Of the experiments would not be possible. Imagine finding the cure to Cancer or anything & having to explain to the people you had to test it on people that were inches from death & sometimes suffered horribly, possibly died or for were forever incapacitated because of your ‘treatment’ ?)

2.) Hardly any cases of testing (To our knowledge) were on soldiers themselves. For the most part of what we Know, the actual accounts are those of regular citizens. They were testing mostly medical procedures that seem like they would’ve been deemed too risky to be approved at all. I’ve watched documentaries on people who found out later in life they were experimented on who spoke about their bodies suffering from permanent excruciating physical pain, and people with no background mental illness developing disorders, family members who remember their loved one going in for an exam and being in a vegetative state days later.

3.) why is there such a large group of People involved? Why in different states, Age groups, Medical Backgrounds?? WHY elSE would there be research performed by such different facilities? Sometimes Universities? Sometimes Private medical companies & labs, The military even? Was the conspiracy really that the CIA wanted a perfect military? Or was the conspiracy that they pocketed most of their funding (probably millions of dollars) & experimented on people withought their consent because it was the cheaper thing to do? What would be worse? Why were the documents Destroyed? Was it because the secrets they discovered were just so juicy? OR is it because their credibility, ethicality and morale would be destroyed for DECADES if the people knew they used us, drugged us, damaged our minds and harmed our children for profit?
