\**PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNVOTING**\** Epstein signed his last will 2 days earlier on August 8th, I believe that his lawyers knew his plans beforehand and helped him set his affairs in order. I think the July 23rd suicide attempt was impulsive and resolved Epstein and his lawyers to carefully discuss his Will and plan his suicide, I think these plans may have extended to them ensuring his cellmate was moved out of his cell on Friday, August 9th, paving the way for his suicide. I think the guards' behavior was not complicit but inept, Epstein and his lawyers knew the guards didn't conduct headcounts or conduct welfare checks, they were aware of the systemic failures in MCC, New York. The authorities likely don't have evidence against his lawyers, the room they met in, 6 hours or more a day for the last few weeks before Epstein’s suicide, wasn't bugged or filmed. Also, you should look into his Will, how it placed $577 Millon, offshore in the Virgin Islands in the 1953 Trust, out of the reach of his victims. They can only be compensated if they agree to drop their case against Epstein's co-conspirators, it's a cleverly designed bribe. The Will can be challenged however if it is proven he committed suicide or his lawyers acted unethically in abetting his suicide. Claiming it was murder simply helps Ghislaine Maxwell and others get away with their crimes.
This was a partial non-drop incomplete hanging, he leaned forward and most of his body weight was imposed on his neck, he didn't hang freely. The ligature was perpendicular to the neck, tied through to one of the holes in the metal frame of the bed as he lent forward. What angle do you think the ligature mark would be? Yes, perpendicular to the neck, not at an angle. Similarly, Epstein tied the ripped blanket ligature to the bed, not above his head. The hanging case by lying on his stomach. A 73-year-old man was found dead beside a tree. He was lying face-down. His neck was suspended by a wrap-belt attached to a branch fork of the tree and was about 30 cm from the ground. The ligature ran around the neck about 2/3 times, and the hanging type was open-loop form. On the left side of the cervix, the neck touched the tree, and the ligature mark remained on the auricle. In the right side of the neck, the ligature mark remained from the mandible angle to a position 5 cm behind the auricle.
As for the hyoid bone, The hyoid and cartilage become brittle with age. It is common to find multiple bones and cartilage fractures in partial/incomplete non-drop hanging among elderly suicide victims. Epstein was 66. Simonsen (1980) personally examined 80 cases of hanging, where no hangings was of a drop type and 50 were incomplete hangings (like Epstein). He found 64% or 31% had fractures to their hyoid and/or hyoid cartilage, fractures were far more common in older individuals. The difference in frequency fractures depended on the position of the knot/ligature, under the chin or to the side. Fractures were more common in older adults (Epstein was 66) but very rare in the young, Simonsen found no one under 25 with a hyoid fracture (his paper is helpful due to the large proportion of older adults he examined). And Zátopková et al. (2018) found that Laryngohyoid fractures (fracture of the thyroid cartilage connecting hyoid to mandible) are very common in cases of incomplete hanging: The incidence of laryngohyoid fractures in the full-suspension group was 75.7% (84 of 111 cases), while the incidence in the incomplete suspension group was 67.2% (45 of 67 cases). So it was not unusual to find hyoid fractures. Also, don't trust Michael Baden, he was paid by Epstein's brother to conduct the 2nd autopsy, it is in the interest of those associated with Epstein to claim/imply murder in order to protect the August 8th Will. If the Will is invalidated, Epstein's victims could get compensation and bring others justice. They currently have to drop their case against his estate, it seems this protection extends to Ghislaine Maxwell. It's a bribe. I personally believe that Epstein's lawyers knew his intention to commit suicide and helped him set his affairs in order. This is a serious concern, it's why his lawyers imply or even claim he didn't commit suicide.

Note: A hanging is Complete if the body is fully suspended but Incomplete if some part of the body is touching the ground.
And for what's worth, here is the indictment against the two guards, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, who was on duty on 9 South the night Epstein's suicide.

The SHU has a central common area where the prison officer's desk is located. Video footage was filmed of the common area and the corridor connecting the common area to the exit/entrance of the SHU. The common area connects to 6 tiers each containing 8 prison cells, each tier is locked behind a door that only Thomas and Noel had keys for. Video surveillance footage of the door to Epstein's Tier showed that no one entered or left all night, the door stayed shut. The indictment also states that the guards desk was only 15 feet from Epstein's cell, next to the locked door to his Tier. Footage showed the guards falsifying the logbook, surfing the web, sleeping. It's kinda hard to imagine how someone else killed him. One possibility is his cell and another on his tier was left open all night (or the killer had keys to Epstein's cell), the killer left his cell and entered /Epstein's cell, strangled him, and returned to his cell. The who locked that prisoner's cell, it can't be locked from the inside. The indictment says the doors are controlled from the control room on the 1st floor, I'm not exactly sure which doors it's talking about, maybe the single door to the SHU, or the SHU and doors to the Tiers. Maybe all the doors, cells as well. For security reasons, I suspect a light would show up if a cell door is opened. A camera filmed Noel and Thomas open Epstein's Tier when they arrived with breakfast at 6.30 am, they raised the alarm a couple of minutes later. They would, or someone else would have to lock the murders cell door. The available video footage may rule this out. There were also inmates on Epstein's tier, no one had yet claimed they saw the murderer exit his cell that night. Bill Mersey claimed he was on Epstein's tier that night and claims he heard Epstein ripe up blankets that night. The door to the Tier is a solid door, the guards likely could not hear that sound from their side of the door. The trial of the two guards was supposed to begin last March but was delayed because of the COVID-19 epidemic in NYC. It will be very interesting to see the available video footage, which I hope will be eventually released.
