Undercover cops in America regularly break the third amendment.
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
Police are an armed force of America, and even if not currently carrying a weapon are subject to this fundamental American law. Undercover cops are thus in violation of the law when they enter a private domicile or property without saying the words "I am a police officer." Yes, this makes undercover cops useless. That is why we have the Bill of Rights: to stop authiritarian dictatorship bullshit like undercover cops.
