It’s all about the money, man

Many, many Right-of-Center dialogues assume COVID is a hoax to one degree or another, perpetrated by a mostly Left-of-Center Media for purposes ranging from limiting individual personal liberty through mask wearing and forced vaccinations, to outright blatant political manipulation and fear mongering/ smoke and mirrors. Let’s see how deep the rabbit hole can get from the perspective that Right and Left are actually an illusion, opposing dogmas designed to keep the masses pacified and locked in conflict while the ultra rich continue to push their own, unified agenda... Imagine a First World country in the 1990’s where 75% of the population is expected to provide goods and services to 20% of the population, who in turn provide specialized services and goods to the remaining 5%. Meanwhile, individuals in the top 5% hold roughly 70% of the property/ wealth of the entire country, the Middle 20% generally can expect personal stability/ long term financial gain to net them about 20% of this wealth, while 75% of the population uses 5-10% of the nations total wealth to live paycheck to paycheck. The year 2000 hits. The percentage of the country living on 5% shifts closer to 50%, Growing the Middle to 45% of the population sharing 15% of the nations wealth. The top 5% of the population controls roughly 80% of property and wealth. At this point, you have 1/5 of the population (New Middlers) buying new homes, cars, and other commodities from the top 5% (or companies owned by them), artificially inflating the economy. Meanwhile, wages increase for the lower 50% as they take on roles abandoned by the New Middlers, but they don’t seem to understand why everything is suddenly more expensive. The bubble begins to form... And it pops. By 2005, just 1% of the population holds 80% of the wealth in the country. Roughly 75% are living paycheck to paycheck again, with 20-30% struggling to hold onto 15-20% of a pie that is rapidly spoiling. Scared of the increasingly poor and desperate majority, the top 1% begin shifting their wealth into “Community” protection programs that train and arm peace keeping forces like armies, all the while manipulating medical, nutritional, educational, and other research to keep the general population unhealthy and dumb. Technology becomes geared towards being addictive / pacification. By 2020, 1% of the nations population controls 85% of wealth, media, and property. Roughly 20% of the population provide goods and services that are deemed “essential” in return for a stable 10% of the nations wealth. And almost 80% of the population preforms “non-essential” work, living off of the remaining 5%. At this point, the top 1% has built many layers of protection for itself, with no real way to know if they actually work. So they start running tests... How long will a vast majority of the population just sit silently, voluntarily, letting others tell them what is happening? Even if they start killing off old people with a mysterious disease, because the nursing home economy boom is an unnecessarily predatory business model in a country where 80% of people live paycheck to paycheck, but euthanasia is also illegal? What if entire cities riot because the systems designed for protection favor a minority of the population over the welfare of the nation itself? Will the millions spent weaponizing the peacekeepers be enough to quell unrest? Will utilizing non lethal force to quell unrest result in loss of control? What about Lethal Force? These questions and more need answers as the 1% continue to amass wealth, and reinvest it in their own protection. COVID, and the measures surrounding it, essentially functioned as a pause button on the remote for the 21st century economy being repeatedly pressed by a group of cavemen for the first time. It has polarized populations alongside of a Liberal Wokening; Right won’t wear masks or stay home to protect others, but criticizes the Left when they gather en mass to protest Police Brutality. Left keeps pushing to remove racist, religious, and/or patriotic landmarks and practices, while the Right decry the establishment of a welfare state and the erosion of traditional values. Meanwhile, personal firearms are increasingly demonized as the tools of extremists from almost the entire political center; Affordable, accessible healthcare and other essential services are routinely denied to a majority of the population due to a false portrayal of high demand or lack of interest; most, if not all of the information available to the public is designed to confuse and disorient a fearful population; and, to add to the chaos, the entire supply chain from farm/ factory- store has been disrupted and regulated in ways never before seen, wreaking havoc on pricing, labor models, and other essential statistics that smaller businesses had no way to prepare for. It really is all about the money, man.
