What was Sweet potato craze of about 8 years ago really about?

I couldn’t find exactly what year it was but it was about 8 years ago. Fast food and restaurant chains went crazy for sweet potatoes. Every chain from Wendy’s to Applebee’s had sweet potatoes in many different ways. The food industry was really pushing it.

Was it for purposes unknown to us? Consuming a lot of sweet potatoes will turn your skin orange over time. Was it some kind of hidden message about Donald Trump becoming president? Was it a signal for the Russian spies in America to make it happen? Was it a message to aliens? Was it a human experiment?

Or was it more innocent? Did the food industry just have too many sweet potatoes because of farmers grew too much? Did regular potatoes have a low yield that year? Or were they just trying to make their meals slightly healthier?

You've seen it on the glove Tom Hanx ig post, you've heard about it in the wayfairgate evil if you are on twitter. What does it mean? My guess is "src" is short for "satanic ritual child". "sra" is well documented short for "satanic ritual abuse" Also, the wayfair building has the fmason black and white pattern design on the roof (see photos) which is symbolic for "good vs evil" and can be seen in many of their lodges. If there is a Marek's disease scenario due to the leaky vaccine being promoted, that will mean every human will need a shot or will die

This scares the pants off of me, the more I think about it. Basically what happened is chickens had this disease called Marek's disease that caused tumors but wasn't usually fatal. In 1970 they invented a leaky vaccine (one that didn't prevent infection but only lessened symptoms). What resulted was a mutation of Marek's disease that now KILLS EVERY SINGLE CHICKEN WHO GETS IT. The vaccinated chickens are able to maintain a high viral load while being healthy, enough to quickly kill an unvaccinated bird. So if you own chickens, and they're going to be in contact with other chickens, you HAVE to vaccinate them or they can die easily. From a disease that was originally a nothingburger, but is now super deadly because of this leaky vaccine.
