Brainwashed Slave Mentality

Here is my conspiracy. I think it is well known that the slave trade occurred and wrecked havoc on the “value” of black lives in America and in countless other countries around the world. They were forced into new environments, forced to take new religions, speak new tongue, etc. Oppressors in America forced slaves into assimilation, making them American “citizens” and forced slaves to believe in American freedom.

Here is where I started to think. African Americans have always been granted freedom (Emancipation, Civil Rights Acts, etc.) we haven’t actually FOUGHT to overthrow governments and systems, we just wanted them to be changed. We would rather use these systems (the same ones designed to enslave and oppress; the ones that were not designed for US to use). Could this be apart of an elaborate scheme to continue the oppression of black people all while making us think we are doing the right thing? Even though we know America is corrupted and against us, we are still putting the ball in their court, so to speak. Many great revolutions came from violent over throws of power, why were we made to believe that peaceful is better?
