VENUS!
Just had this idea so it’s not fully put together but we have seen a couple weird things about Venus in the headlines recently. Namely the existence of phosphine gas which is a possible sign of life as well as the head of roscosmos recently remarked “We think Venus is a Russian planet, so we shouldn’t lag behind[on Venus exploration]”. The main point of my theory is that there is something far deeper is going down on Venus and our solar system in general than the public realizes.
When learning about the solar system in school Venus was always a planet you were almost told to gloss over. Its way too hot, way too pressurized, extremely inhospitable basically no reason any human or life form in general would ever want to go to that planet. But the other thing science has told us, something I remember learning about in elementary school, is that Venus is shrouded by an opaque layer of sulfuric acid preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light. I think it is without a doubt the public has been conditioned to think about Venus in a certain way. Though we have amassed a good deal of scientific data about Venus through space exploration with Russia being the main country to stage successful lander missions (Vega 2) though the U.S had great success with the Magellan orbiter which thoroughly geographically mapped the planet.
Do I think Venus is truly inhospitable in terms of heat and pressure? Yes but I also believe there is a large amount of secret technology which could potentially mean tech that would allow a human to stand on the surface of Venus. I mean for Christ’s sake look at that recent post about directed energy weapons.
What I really makes sense to me is that there is something hiding on Venus. Whether it be a safe haven for humans with advanced technology or even a spaceport of sorts for extraterrestrials to come to our solar system. I myself think we’re looking at a combination of both here. I also think both of these possibilities aren’t limited to Venus in terms of places in our solar system, but Venus is quite an attractive place in terms of keeping secrets and being close to earth.
I mean the first successful lander on Venus was Venera 4 in 1967 that’s two years before the moon landing, if you look at the timeline of Venus exploration the Russians had many prior mission failures it seems that getting a lander on Venus was quite important to the Soviets. Then I think about how the U.S placed such a vast emphasis on the moon landing which just does not seem to be as scientifically important compared to exploring our neighboring planet that we knew nothing about, but when Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon the U.S “won” the space race.
What if the U.S and the media placed such an emphasis on getting to the moon to distract from Russian exploration of Venus?
What if the space race or even the Cold War in general was just a way to deceive the public as to the true nature of 20th century human space exploration which was the U.S and the Soviet Union cooperating to get enough human infrastructure in space to operate out there and contact/cooperate with extraterrestrials?
Why has the volume of space exploration in our solar system that is known to the public drastically decreased since the 1980s or in other words since the fall of the Soviet Union?
Another post here that really caught my eye is that this new finding of phosphine gas on Venus is one of the first steps towards public disclosure. If we do accept that aliens are real and that they are in our solar system what’s the next thing we would think about? Money. Whichever nation, corporation, individual etc. that can successfully peacefully bring about disclosure while also monetizing all of the secret tech and secret industries to consumers on earth would stand to gain vast amounts of wealth.
What if since the end of the space race and the fall of the Soviet Union we have been in a different race; the race to disclosure?
