Infiltration Theory Regarding The Dyatlov Pass Incident

Hello there, I have been thinking about this theory for a while, and decided to finally share it, most of this is from podcasts and documentaries, so I presume most of us are working with more or less the same story.

Many of us know the story of Dyatlov Pass, the hikers gone missing, then found dead in strange and somewhat horrific circumstances, the tent cut open from the inside, the cameras found, with one of the last images being of lights, this has raised many theories, Avalanche? Mansi hunters? A jilted lover? Bears? The Yeti or UFO'S? But I have yet to see one theory brought up, what if it was infiltrators/spies?

The mountain the group set up camp on, was quite flat and wide as opposed to pointed, this is not always made clear to people, who then make assumptions about avalanches, the nature of this mountain might have made it a good landing sight for a helicopter (the first widely sold Soviet helicopter The Ka-15 appearing in 1955)

Now we get to the actual events, if something loud and noisy enough dropped in, the group would have good reason to panic and cut themselves out quickly from the tent (which had many buttons, not a zipper) and maybe even take a quick snapshot. But then we find out that they marched down to the forest treeline, in single file formation, is it possible they were being held at gunpoint? Later two sets of footprints returned to the tent, but after a month how could they be sure that was from the group?

Two of the male hikers, were found nearer the treeline, with burned limbs, initially you would again think they placed there hands in the fire, not realizing it due to frostbite, but what if it had been a quick form of torture? A tree beside them had broken branches and marks showing someone had climbed it, was it one of these mens captors, scouting? Perhaps the other Dyatlov group members had made a hasty escape in the night and been unsuccessful?

One of the group members faces was essentially destroyed, another had her tongue removed, but not in a manner consistent with small animals eating a body over time, and most or all of the bodies had a strange orange coloring by the time they were found, was it possible they were tortured and then poisoned, so as to remove any chance of linking this back to a foreign nation via bullet wounds/tracing?

Locals say they saw strange lights in the sky, but in 1959, a helicopter with a few lights, might as well be a UFO to very rural people from a distance, and in a Russian Language TV interview, one of the original military searchers, before the civilian teams showed up, claimed they found a Chinese made flashlight, sitting on top of the lightly snow covered, and collapsed tent (I will try and search for the clip)

Claims of Yeti could be attributed to men wearing heavy winter gear, claims of lights nearer the Mansi town, could be flashlights and men moving in formation.

The Soviets were conducting air explosive tests in the area, what if this small team was sent to secretly observe them? Some have asked if this is why the hikers may have abandoned safety, got the strange injuries and skin pigmentation, but Mt. Otorton wasn't in a restricted area, by the time everyone was found after a month, nearly all the evidence could have been erased, it was a week before anyone really started wondering about the cross country ski tourism group (which was more about the athletics, endurance and difficulty)

Soviet-Sino relations were always a little rocky, as Mao wanted to maintain independence from Moscow, upon his first visit, Stalin had the reception in a hotel usually meant for minor western dignitaries, and then throughout the years they were in competition over puppets and power, North Vietnam even played them against each other politically, so as to get more aid.

So.. thoughts? For the most part, like I said this is just information I have gathered in my mind from various podcasts and youtube videos, there could be some piece of info out there that easily discredits it, especially since so few sources and books on the topic have been made or translated to English.
