Constitution Formation Theory
Would love to hear if anyone thinks the same or has other ideas about how our rights were created.
Constitution Formation Theory : All the signers of the constitution took many days and had many arguments before signing the constitution( what I learned from school). I think somoene thought of a way to bring people together at a time when thinking and surviving went hand in hand. My thinking is that someone said "Hey we (the ones who sign the document) will all get a portion of land called a "state" if we can discuss the rights we want and the rights we think the ones in the future will want". By saying that the ones who sign the document will get something in return(a portion of land/state), the framers (in my opinion), ensured that everyone in the room that were willing to contribute their input into the document would not only have returns in the form of land but also in the form of a better life in the near term and future generations. In my opinion, this is how the framers were able to provide not only their ideas but others ideas they might or might not have agreed with. In my opinion, this is how the framers used a critical path method to form the system we see today and think about yesterday.
