Vitamin K
After doing some recent research into vitamins I came across various academic literature citing the benefits of vitamin K for dental health, both to protect and restore the health of your teeth. However if you google ‘vitamin K teeth’ , the top result is a global toothpaste brand insisting that there is no evidence of the dental benefits of this vitamin. However looking at academic journals, there are clear benefits to having sufficient intake of this vitamin, that have been known for many decades . It also states theres no need to supplement this vitamin and that sufficient amounts are found in a varied diet. I wonder how many people would benefit from supplementing this cheap vitamin, both for their health, and saving on dentistry costs, but instead are misconstrued by a company thats interests are for people to have poor dental health in order to sell more toothpaste.
