Have you noticed how conspiracy optimism always gets downvoted?

I’ve been thinking about this recently.

Take the inauguration tomorrow as an example. Most posts you’ll find on conspiracy subs are either Q Anon 4D chess type stuff or “I’ve got a funny feeling something bad will happen” posts from concerned Democrats. Both of these types of posts get hundreds of upvotes in conspiracy subs, but posts saying things like “things will be mundane” or “there is no big plan” have become a conspiracy in and of themselves and get brigaded with downvotes. It’s like whoever runs the subs want people to fear something.
