What is really inside mountains. Are they just massive mounds of rock and earth?
Could they have undiscovered ecosystems within massive caverns. Just think about how many lakes in the mountains (especially Canada) could be undiscovered. Is it that much of a stretch to theorize about what could be in the mountains? We already have examples of absolutely huge caves being only recently discovered.(Wells Grey cave) how many more caves are out there in the mountains? Subterranean rivers, perhaps even lakes could exist just below the rocky shell.
