Canadian UFO crash in 1967 possibly involving one or more submersible UAPs
This incident is of particular interest to me because I actually live 10 minutes from shag harbor, nova scotia and have spoken to at least 2 eye witnesses personally.
I thought I'd bring this story up because of its involvement with a UFO travelling while submerged under the ocean. Here's the "official" run down found on wikipedia.
"On the night of 4 October 1967, at about 11:20 pm Atlantic Daylight Time, it was reported that something had crashed into the waters of Shag Harbour. At least eleven people saw a low-flying lit object head towards the harbour. Multiple witnesses reported hearing a whistling sound "like a bomb," then a "whoosh," and finally a loud bang. The object was never officially identified, and was therefore referred to as an unidentified flying object (UFO) in Government of Canada documents. The Canadian military became involved in a subsequent rescue/recovery effort. "
So they never officially found anything off the coast of this little fishing community. For 40 odd years this story remained unchanged until a well known Ufologist, Chris Styles, claimed to have acquired a classified document pertaining to the incident. In summary, a cold war sonar base nearby apparently tracked this thing travelling up the coast approximately 40 miles, completely submerged under the ocean. The rest of the story goes that the American and Canadian military had large ships anchored now off the coast of Shelburne, above this mysterious object. Divers were sent down to investigate and one of them allegedly came forward years later and claimed to have witnessed one "Craft" somehow repairing or aiding another. The story concludes strangely with a soviet war vessel being detected somewhere close enough to cause concern and when the ships departed out to sea in pursuit, both of these crafts shot out of the ocean and up into the great beyond never to be seen again. Pretty crazy stuff if true.
I'll post a documentary made with Chris Styles where he relays this information personally. Feel free to watch the whole thing, its an older doc with that classic mid 2000s style it may not be everyone's cup of tea. https://youtu.be/gf76bOK8A0o?t=2164
