Area 51 is a red herring, if there is aliens they're probably in Alaska

Everyone knows about Area 51, the secret government base that allegedly houses aliens, space ships and alien technology, however there is a huge problem with this: everyone knows about how it apparently contains aliens.

Let me put it this way, say you are the the government, and you need a place to hide aliens and technology (what is best to be described as forbidden knowledge), things that the general public and the wider world can not know about, let alone have access to, where would you place this base? In a place that is far from civilization, difficult to get to and very large for above and below ground expansion for storage and research.

Where Area 51 is located it, makes little sense. While the Nevada desert has lots of place for expansion, it's easy to get to, at least the outer perimeter to confirm it's existence. It's not impossible to get to, based on the afore mentioned people getting to the outer perimeter, also to note that Area 51 is only 60-80 miles from the town of Alamo, NV and 100-150ish miles from vegas, so it's definitely drivable in a few hours.

Now going back to what i said in the beginning, people know about this place and that it allegedly contains aliens, so to keep their alien research under wraps they would have to move their research to another factility, and to keep up the arouse that Area 51 is a alien research facility they keep it under lock and key, and make sure that no one enters to keep up the appearance of it's perceived operations.

So the question is, if they don't have aliens in Area 51, where do they? Alaska.

Think back to my three previous points:

  1. Far from civilization
  2. Difficult to get to
  3. Large area

Firstly Alaska has a population (according to the 2019 census) of 731,000, and since 280,000 people live in Anchorage and the populations of Fairbanks and Juneau combined are 62,000 meaning that 46% of Alaskan population live in these three cities and they aren't near the northern land and coastal areas of the state.

Secondly, as many people are aware, Alaska, is pretty difficult to gat around, and filled with a various hazards such as the climate, the mountains, wild animals and blizzards the are common in some regions. So would be 'seekers of truth' would have a difficult time getting to it.

And finally, Alaska is pretty big meaning that a alien research base could easily be put up in the northern area of Alaska where very few are able to get there, and even fewer live in that region.

And with a harsh environment, sparse population and a lot of area to set up operation. it's very possible that the US Government could have set up an secret military base. Mind you, I have no way to know if this the case, there may not be any secret base in alaska, it might be in nevada, there may not even be any alien base at all, this is just a theory I had. Thanks for reading.
