Refusal to acknowledge a UFO coverup is hurting disclosure.

As much of a cynic as I am, I closely follow MSM headlines to track how UFO news is playing out in the media.

Unfortunately there seems to be a real lack of quality investigative journalism related to UFOs. The reporting is extremely lazy and always seems to rehash the same arguments and counter arguments.

What's missing from ALL of these articles are a few basic questions that should immediately follow the revelation that UFOs are real and the Pentagon has been looking into them.

Why was the official position one of denial until the navy videos and existence of AATIP were leaked in 2017? Why won't anyone officially comment on recovered physical evidence, even to deny it? If these aren't secret US tech and we still don't know what they are, why isn't more data being shared with the scientific community and the public?

There is a lack of historical context in the reporting that seems to ignore decades of UFO history and previous government investigations. Similar sightings go back to at least the 1940s, so why is this being covered as though UFOs are a "new" thing that the Pentagon is just starting to look into?

There seems to be a national panic about conspiracy theories that makes journalists afraid to "go there." With Q and COVID-19 conspiracies gaining national prominence, no one wants to be labeled as a "conspiracy theorist." We appear to be in an environment where not going along with the official narrative is perceived as dangerous and irresponsible.

But haven't we already established that the Pentagon was at least covering up the UFO phenomenon during the AATIP years? Now, when congress requests a comprehensive summary of UFO data, they deliver what amounts to a 6 page shoulder shrug. There should have been a formal congressional inquiry immediately after that.

The lack of curiosity and due diligence in all this UFO reporting is excruciating. US politicians, similarly, seem more interested in preserving their connections to power than getting to the truth about this subject. How can we ever move the needle on disclosure when we have this doglike loyalty among journalists and politicians to the institutions that have been lying to us for generations?

I wish that instead of the public being divided into skeptics and believers and arguing with each other, we could at least get on board with the notion that the Pentagon needs to show their cards so we aren't left in the dark. Skeptics and believers have more in common than they think. We all want the truth, we want the evidence! Where is this call to action? Despite months of US politicians claiming they want answers , there seems to be nothing but complacency following the UAP report. "Oh, guess they don't know anything. Okay." I haven't seen anyone in a real position of power be even remotely critical of how the Pentagon has handled UFOs. And no wonder the general public is barely interested. Journalists have made the entire topic as frustrating, boring and inaccessible as possible with their tepid reporting and unwavering support of whatever the Pentagon narrative is.

This is all very frustrating. Besides contacting our elected representatives, what can we even do?
