Patience and Perspective
Long time lurker, occasional commenter. Sometimes frustration and impatience during the lulls of this topic can make you go a bit stir crazy. Constantly trying to filter out the wheat from the chaff on this sub often doesn't help. Like Dr. Eric Davis said "the phenomenon dictates our course", we should be patient until the next drop comes along (as long as you've written a letter to your representatives demanding greater exposure and transparency). I am passionate about the subject of UAP/UFO and the very real, long-ridiculed conspiracy of a cover-up.
However, it is important to keep at least one foot in normality when researching/exploring the paranormal or you can lose your freaking mind. Just a friendly reminder to appreciate how far we've come and take some time to enjoy the simple things.
Now re-watching Stargate SG-1 after 10 years and it reminded me about the wonder and joy of thinking about endless possibilities in a fun and innocent way. Not saying the show has any value whatsoever in actual research, but it is such a relief from watching everyone tear each other apart about whether or not the posted video was intentionally hoaxed etc. Other than those pesky black-hat bots and counterintelligence agents roaming around on this sub, we should work together on progressing the whole movement forward. Treat each other with respect and always keep the pursuit of (real/corroborated) knowledge (and sharing that knowledge) paramount.
What are your preferred outlets of information and what are their relative strengths and weaknesses? (mine are below)
Project Unity (Jay): https://www.youtube.com/c/ProjectUnity
Strengths: Has great contacts, speaks intelligently and eloquently, challenges his subjects (interviews)
Weaknesses: For some, he may be a little too much Woo
The Black Vault (John Greenewald): https://www.youtube.com/c/TheBlackVaultOriginals
Strengths: A master of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, an enduring seeker of truth
Weaknesses: To me, at least, it seems like the gov't pushed all the good stuff into the private sector (aerospace corporation etc.) so it is unlikely the murder weapon will be uncovered through FOIA
UFO Joe (Joe Murgia): https://www.ufojoe.net/
Strengths: A master note-taker/stenographer and diligent researcher - megablog on Wilson/Davis notes
Weaknesses: Not a ton of content but he works hard
Project Human (Zac): https://www.projecthuman.fm/
Strengths: Some really great interviews (Ross Coulthart & Lue especially), good interviewer
Weaknesses: Only 18 or so episodes out right now (you can find them on Spotify too)
