Rich people are aliens

Here's my newest take on what's going on in the world. Forgive me if this has already been brought up but my brief research yielded nothing so here's my post.

We've repeatedly been told that alien life almost definitely exists, and we might (or even should) have encountered it by now. Assuming that aliens are anything like us humans - intelligent, conscious beings - they would have learned from decades of quiet co-existence and exposure to humans that we are very "fragile" beings. We're scared of what we don't understand, we're unpredictable. And when we're scared of something, we more than likely kill it. Or we study it in ways that aren't necessarily humane. Our morals are questionable at best, and absolutely abhorrent at worst.

There's a theory I've seen going around that there's a reason for why we're scared of anything that looks like us but isn't. The whole "uncanny valley" and how our fear for things like mannequins and dolls could very well be caused by the fact that at some point in history we've had an encounter with beings that were... Like us but not entirely. And so, assuming history repeats itself, we probably wiped those beings out, or hunted them into near extinction. Probably after years of torture, persecution and abuse etc.

Now, let's think about what those beings would need to stop all of that and ensure their survival, and that they can never be treated that way again. They would need power, and what gives people more power than money. What makes people untouchable. Money. Lots and lots of it.

Fast-forward to the present day and think about this for a minute. Why is it that people that can single-handedly end poverty, disease, environmental issues, inequality, basically any problem that you can think of, do less than the bare minimum? Instead of helping the human race, they sit there and build rockets to launch themselves and a select few others into space. Under the pretence of looking for extra-terrestrial life, or whatever. Humans are literally dying out and those of us that can do the most to help, do nothing. They're literally just watching as we drive ourselves into near extinction. Just like we did to them, whenever ago.

In my opinion this also explains the ever growing wealth gap and why normal people's chances of getting rich are basically non-existent. We all know society is broken and rigged. This explains the "why" on a whole different level.
